I just ordered a new unit with the motor and window actuator. Does anyone know of any secrets for the removal of the old and install of the new one?

 

I found that the replacement of the motor/actuator assembly for the power windows takes about 20-30 mins. Its the easiest thing to do. I am totally surprised. After working on Volvos for years I expected the worst. Anyone can tackle this job. $65.95 for the complete assembly and a half hours work. Bet a shop would charge an arm and a leg!
