Default 97 Pathfinder Intermittent No Start

I have a 97 Pathfinder(Automatic) and in the past week it is starting to randomly not start. When I turn the key to the on position it has power, but when I turn to start sometimes it does nothing. I will just keep turning the key and eventually the starter will work and the car cranks. Sometimes it's in as little as a couple of minutes, buton Friday night it took an hour before it would finally start..and of course sometimes it starts like it should. I didn't think it was the battery, but I had it tested anyway and it was fine. I'm guessing it is either the starter relay, solenoid or starter itself. I can't seem to locate the relay under the hood. There is a relay box on the driver side and passenger side, but nothing in either one is labeled starter and my Haynes manual does not show this, it just says it's located under the hood. Any help would be much appreciated..thanks!

Sounds like it is the starter....it is tight in there. I would just call around for price and have someone do the job unless you are very handy. I had a similar problem with mine....sometimes, it would just click when the ignition key was turned. I had to turn the key several times before it would start.

Yea, it was, I changed it myself, it only took about 30 minutes to swap out.
