AC control head removal

RE: AC control head removal
Well, I'll reply to my own post.
To remove the heater/ac control head on a 2002 Pathfinder simply pry out the clock/vent section right above the heater/ac control. Take your time and pry out slowly...it is held in by clips. Once removed you will see two screws that when removed will free the entire faceplate. Four screws hold the control to the mounting bracket and out it comes.
BTW...that was not my problem in spite of what a Nissan technician told me. It was the "Module Assembly", part#27761-70T03. That is a bad name for a part that controls the blower motor speed. It seems to be the equivilent to the resistor pack everyone talks about.
