I got 25 mpg on a trip to Yosemite today
I drove from Oakland, Ca to Lake Tahoe, then back to Oakland by way of Yosemite (Hyw 120).
I never drove over 60 mph and spent as much time as I could around 50 mph. I checked my figures at least three times. I drove 478 miles and burned 19.4 gallons of fuel. The key was keeping it slow. I drive a 1992 4X4, 5spd,, 3.0 litre XEV6. Pathfinder.
