hey i was going to buy a used 93 pathfinder for 800 dollars nd i was all up for it and then a guy i know who said he owned 2 said " you better watch out for those pathfinders because the frame rusts out very fast in them..." so that kinda spooked me ..the guy said he took it to pa to get it registered for his son but it would not pass inspection because of rust so i am wondering is that a very common this to happen (i mean about the rust)...thanks for reading this post!!!!!

 

I don't think anyone will say they rust any less than other twelve year old vehicles. I have heard/read about some Pathfinders that had rust issues with the frame around the rear end. Plenty of people will tell your their "Nerf" (side) bars rusted from the inside out, mine are.

My Pathfinder was put up on a lift and spayed with an undercoat years ago. Don't get me wrong, it has some rust, but which is it going to be, the vehicle rusts out or the engine gives out?
