Default Should I replace my stock cd player or get it fixed?

I have the same problems everyone else does with my 01 PF cd player locked up with cds in it. Should I get an after market or send this one out to be fixed.

In either case who is rec?

Thanks.

I would go aftermarket... unless you can find a local radio shop that fixes for a reasonable price.

having this same Err2 problem. Is there any way out?

If not, how do I remove the system and install an aftermarket?
