Default starter problems

the starter on my 01 pathfinder seems like it is weak when it gets warm. If the pathfinder has been sitting for a short time and you try to start it , the starter kind of hesitates alittle. my dad owned a 85 gmc jimmy that went through 3 starters because of them getting hot. He had to eventually get a heavy duty starter for it to fix it. has anyone else experienced this problem. the path only has 41500 miles on it. thanks

Default RE: starter problems

I also have an 01 Pathfinder with 35K, it still has the orginal stater. I only use the truck in winter, but every single week I will start the truck to charge the battery. That may make the different.
