Default STUCK PLUG

I bought my '99 Pathfinder in December. I recently changed the plugs (5) of them and I am unable to get the middle one on the top out. It has stuff hardened around the plug nut and I can't get a socket on it.Anyone have this problem? How did you get it out? I’ve scraped around it but that hasn’t done any good. Help would be great. THANKS Sorry for the lame description, I’m not good at this kind of stuff but it save money so I try to do it myself.

Answer
Stuck plug!!! Oh baby, what a treat.
"These here plugs can go 100,000 miles without changing" the car salesman and manufacturers boost. Just try to get em out. They should warranty them for that long.
Anyways, if you change them every 30,000 miles and put a little anti-seize on the end of the threads, you won't have this problem. They get seized from heat, corrosion, overtightening and age.
Hopefully, it won't break when you try. I continually soak it in a high quality penetrating fluid. And turn it out a little and back in a little, back out a little and back in a little. Eventually, with a little skill you might get it without breaking. You may end up pulling the threads out of the head, but you can insert a heli-coil and get your new plug back in. May end up pulling the head if it doesn't go so well. ROTS A RUCK

I recommend you go out and buy some Break Away and let it soak for about 15 to 20 min. Then work it back and forth until it comes loose
