Hi Gang,
I have an '88 Pathfinder V6 which has been running erratically for several weeks. Most days it ran fine, other days it ran like it had a fouled spark plug or two.
Last week while driving, it suddenly quit running - no warning, just like I'd turned the key off. I coasted to the curb and got a tow home. Now, I found that there is no spark. I tested the coil, and it is okay
I ran the Mode III test on the ECU and it blinks 11, which the Haynes manual says is Crank Angle Sensor.
Can anyone here tell me if that is definitely the problem? Before I put another C-and-a-half into this car, I'd like to make sure. Could it be the Ignition Control Module and still show Error 11?
