Ok, my husband has tried to fix our 2008 Nissan Sentra base sedan for a little over a year now. Our wiring harness burnt from crankshaft sensor and melted together and stopped starting. He bought a pigtail CKP PLUG and wired it back together with no luck he got it to start but it wouldn’t pull what so ever and had a very bad miss we’ve tried everything to fix it. Was gonna pay $1100 bucks for new wiring harness. Once again no luck they quit production on them and there’s not one nowhere in the country. I did happen to find a parts car at a junkyard with a 2.5 L could we just swap harness and engine or is there other factors to be considered such as tranny or sensors or room or it bolting you same or changing computer. Please help he’s driving me crazy cause he’s got a lot of money in it and don’t wanna take my advice and scrap it LOL

 

I would get harness out of junkyard- for example pick and pull
