2005 Sentra A/C temp control
Hello forum,
My sentra ac system appears to be working fine on the whole, however, the air coming out of the vents goes from cold to slightly cool and then back to cold, repeatedly. The system is fully charged with freon and the compressor is working fine. The compressor is not cutting in and out, it stays engaged when the ac button is depressed. My issue is, I believe there is an internal thermostat that controls the amount of consistent cold air blowing through the inside system. I believe it is behind the dash/console somewhere. Can anyone confirm this and would you know if the thermostat is adjustable?
I had an 88' mazda with a similar problem and a mechanic friend removed the internal thermostat and the air blew consistently cold when the temp control was set to full cold and recirculate.
