Default Confused. Please Help!

I got a 1997 1.6 Nissan Sentra GXE, and i've had problems with it before like the tranny but its fixed now, then whas the fuel injectors but i replaced them, now my car starts, stays on for like 5-8 seconds then it starts to choke and die, evenwhen i press all the way the gas pedal. I know its not the mass air flow cause i replaced that aswell cause people told me that it was the mass air flow sensor, but its still the same problem, and i am so confused in what els it going on, ive been thinking its maybe the air intake but icant be sure since this car allways have problems one after the other. My last repair was the injectors and the M.A.F.S. and it ran like new around the block couple of times, then when i parked it and turned the car of, came back 5 minutes later to test it again. Same problem again, and now its just pissing me off cause i dont really have the money to take it to a auto repair and i know i can do it my self, i just want to know what exactly is the problem.

Please help. Thank you.

Before replacing anything have the car check to see if there are any stored codes. This should give you a good starting point with your troubleshooting. I would not discount the MAF just yet. The MAF may be new but if the wiring is bad you will still have an issue or if something else is causing the MAF to fail, it can fail again. Blindly replacing parts is time consuming and can be expensive. It would be a good idea to obtain a copy of the repair manual, so the components can be checked properly to ensure that things are within spec.

I just got a new AFH55m-12 mass air for sensor for my 1999 grand prix from Auto Mammoth. Amazing customer service and a 5 year warranty. definitely saved me a couple hundred from the major after-market retailers and much more on an OEM part. Check em out before you make any decisions. Oh I forgot it was free shipping as well in the US.
