IVE GOT AN 06 SPEC AND I HAVE EXPERIENCED THE SAME PROBLEMS. FOR ME ITS A HIT OR MISS TYPE OF THING. SOMETIMESIT SEEMS TO HAPPEN EVERY COUPLE OF DAYS AND OTHERS IT JUST DOESNT DO THAT AT ALL.

 

there is a SERVICE BULLTIN from nissan about this prolem just check the attachment,(PLZ DO NOT PRINT) and mention you dealer about just the number of it and ask them HOW COMEYOUCAN NOT DUPLICATE THE PROBLEM ITS A WELL KNOWN PROBLEM TO NISSAN AND THEY HAVE INCLUDED ALL VINS FROM 2002 to 2006, then how they are not familier with this.

this sounds so familer , i have nissan almera tino o3
sod to start from cold, but when its started drives well, no loss of power , doesnt stall, drives fine, however if I stop for half hour it will start up easy , if I stop for two/three hours , have same revving and may not start , takes few minutes to catch on , was told by garage it may need new timing chain cost a grand with labour as awful long job , changed camshft sensor , but not crankshaft sensor , been diagnosed twice , each time comes up with faulty camshaft sensor which as I said has been replaced , very relucatnt to seond grand on chain , as only 44thou on clock , and it may not solve , any help appreciated
