Default RE: help asap, replacing outter cv boots

what you do is put the axle in a vice and remove the old torn boot and turn the out cv joint and you should be able to take a hammer and hit the joint and it should pop right off with a couple of hits then you install the new boot the smaller end first and slide the cv joint back on and tap it and then put the new grease in the boot and finish installing the bigger end of the boot on and tighten the straps and your good to go. the inner boot comes right off when you remove the boot. well good luck. you could also just remove both axles and take them to an axle shop to reboot them for you for a resonible price. well good luck.
