I have the 95 model 200sx se with the 1.6 L engine. I ordered a new valve cover gasket and it comes with new spark plug tube seals. I see the old seals but they are trapped between the valve cover and a orange colored fiberglass pannel inside the cover. Does anyone know how to remove that pannel to replace the seals without destroying it or do these new seals just slide down over the tubes before I install the valve cover?

they should just come out with a pick or small screw driver and put the new seals in and you should be good, just remember not to overtighten the valve cover bolts cause they can break easily. i use to own a ga16de sentra so messed with those 1.6L alot. also i appreciate you posting the picture to help explain.
