Is it a dull thud type rattle noise?. Makes it more on cool mornings? The front stuts will make that sound when they get old. This is usally along with a squeeking or groan noise after the car has been sitting overnight etc. They do this even though they still hold pressure etc. I replaced the ones on my son's and daughter's cars for this reason.
Not sure this is your case, check it out first.

Here is a pic of the right front steering kuckel taken loose from the bottom of the strut. I was replacing the axle and CVT joints.
The two bolts go through the four holes at the bottom holding the streeing knuckel and the strut continues up through the middle of the coil spring and is attached to the Strut towers via a nut on top. You can see the nut over the inner fenders in the engine area after opening the hood.
Caution! Special tools are required to deal with the force of the springs! They can kill you! If you want to do this yourself get a repair manual and follow the directions closely.
A front end alignment will also be needed when you are done. Torque all fasteners to the book specs.

Good luck.
Pete

When your front struts where replaced did they also replace the strut bearings? These are the plastic looking discs held in the black triangle metal housing. It holds the top of the strutshaft and lets it pivot in the strut tower when you turn the steering.

Is there a consistant situation when the noises happens? Situations like:. . .while turning to the right or left in a slight curve? While traveling on the road with a high crown?(crown is the high part of the road uasually in the middle of the road so water will drain to the shoulders) Only when the car is cold? After or while hitting a series of bumps, ripples or dips in the road?

the noise is only when I drive the car no noise turning right or left , I have no noise when car is cold. The noise it's not constanted I can drive for 3 day or maybe a week without the noise than it starts up again it sometimes sounds like a loose part and sometimes it sound like something is grinding. It's real hard to find my mechanic is a certified mechanic and he checked the underneath very good can't fine a thing. Sometimes I think it can be a ball joint the reason I say this is because 2 years ago I took the car to get new tires and the tire shop told me the rightside ball joint was broken and I had the same noise like the one know but I had it repaired but my mechanic checked and he said the ball joint is good. I hope this information can give me some idea.

My son's was making similar noises recently. He also was having the inside edge of his front right tire wearing badly. I replaced both ball joints and all the noises have gone away with those bad ball joints. His car had 139,000 miles on those ball joints.

My daughter's car (same make year and model) started making a similar noise when running over uneven pavement and ripples. It turns out all I had to do was tighten the nut on top of the strut tower. That center nut you see in the middle from the hooded engine area. I used an impact wrench and all the noises went away! Check yours! Might be worth a try.

I have some kind of noise coming from my engine bay. Sound is simulat to a flat piece of metal clanking up against something it sounds like it's coming from where the intake is.
