I have a 2002 Nissan Sentra SE-R and I wanted to modify the stock antenna on it cuz I hate how long it is. I tried to loosen it with a friend by hand, but we were unable to do so. He has a small black antenna that twists in, but we don't know how to deal with the stock one.
I would really appreciate if someone could tell me a simple, cheap procedure as to how to take out the stock antenna.

use a 7mm or 8mm open end wrench and take it off from the base of the attenna.
