New to the forum: Q's about Sentras
I'm trying to buy a 2003 Sentra SE-R spec v with the 6spd manual tranny. It has 74k miles on it and it runs and feels great and the guy wants a little under 10k for it, but I think I can talk him down to 9. I just wanted to get some personal opinions on the car before I commit and buy it. I know there were some recalls on the SE-Rs of that year for the intake manifold butterfly screws and the pre-cat problem and I don't think either of those were recalled in this specific car, but I plan to get an aftermarket I/H/E for it anyway, so I'm not too worried about it.
Once again I'm just looking for personal opinions and/or advice on whether or not this would be worth getting. Long term I plan to build it up, at least I/H/E, suspension, short throw shifter, eventually cams and a good tuning, very long term maybe boost. LMK what you think.
