Default No dash lights

I just bought a 98 sentra. No dash lights but all fuses and relays are good. Anybody had this problem before. The car has 114000 miles and seems to be in pretty good shape. I picked it up in an effort to beat the man at the gas pump. this is my second sentra.

Me too! My '97 Sentra's dash lights and tail lights and front parking lamps just went out driving down the road the other day. There is not a marked spot on the fuse block diagram for dash lights, tail lights, or parking lights. All of the fuses in the block are fine. Someone suggested a bad dimmer switch.... but would that affect tail/parking lamps as well? I ask because I don't know. HELP ME PLEASE! This vehicle is my only source of transportation at this time and not being able to drive it at night is a real bitch! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanx, M.

I had that same problem with the dash lights so I went to my local salvage yard and got a dimmer switch from a 96 sentra and I got lights now however I do not have dome lights so I got to try to fix that. As far as the exterior lights you might want to look at the swith on the colum cause I took mine apart and sprayed some contact cleaner and the lights flickered a little bit but didn't mess them up.

your dash lights are probably not working because of a bad dimmer switch and for all your parking lights going out i would deffinitly double check all your fuses cause that could be it you have to check them with a ohm meter or pull each one out and look if you dont know wich one is wich, if there all good then i would check your light switch on the column. let me know
