tire fit on 97 sentra woth 17"x7 wheels

i was wondering if I could fit 215-40-17 tires on my 97 sentra with a 1-1/2" drop can anyone tell me if it would work.

you may have to check the offset on your wheel, but, you could also roll you fender lip in, the 205 would be a better fit
