Hey, all you Skyline enthusiasts, let's get started. I have owned two skylines, and both were bought and driven in Japan. Man, I would really like to have my Skylines here in the states. Do any of you have your Skyline in the states? Tell us about it.

One of my friends is down in Miami, Fla picking up a skyline that he saw for sale thru a car dealer in South Miami..he's paying a heavy price for the car..but he can afford it...

When he gets the car, I will have him join up in our forums and he can tell us about how great or not so great his Skyline really is...

Well, my first one was a GT-R. Wow, what a screamer. I should have kept it, but I couldn't ship it back from Japan without altering the emissions at a heafty cost. But, my last one was a 4 door family car. It also was super fast, but roomy. Here it is. The GTR that I had was an '89 R-32. The engine was a 2.6 liter, dual overhead cam, 24 valve, twin turbo charged, and intercooled producing 276 hp @ 6800rpm. Sorry, no pics of it.

What are they up to now? A GTR34? Or a GTR36? Anyhoo, I wish I could find a nickel in a pig's track to be able to afford one. Yeah, that 4 door I had was a turbo. The only problem though, is that in Japan, the traffic is bumper to bumper, and the only time you could let her loose was late at night on the toll roads. What engines are they putting in the 350Z's now?

the 350z has the same V6 that the high end maximas have..a 3.5 liter....i dont know why, but nissan doesnt use any of their inline six engines here...i was thinking it might be an emissions thing, but bmw uses all inline 6s...the current skyline is to them, what we call the inifity G coupe...which is a shame..its a big drop in performance from the R34...which is the one in my avatar, and i think it was made until 2001..maybe 2002...supposedly, nissan is supposed to launch a skyline here in 2007..but it will be called the infnity skyline, and have a pricetag of 65+...[:@]

Good grief, I bought the one pictured at 2K. They are cheap in Japan.
