come now people you telling me know one here knows if a 200sx motor will work in an 86 skyline GTX ...this post has been on for 3 days already....

 

what do you mean by "will work"? any motor will work in any car provided enough knowledge and effort....ive seen 280s with 350 chevy motors in them...

 

Hell, just take out the engine, and put in a squirrel cage. Any engine that is approximately the same size or smaller will "WORK" in any car if the fabrication and engineering is there.

 

this may sound dumb but wouldnt the skyline motor put out more power??????

 

Never heard about a skyline GTX but you need to give us more info then this if u want us to help maybe pic's will help

the 200sx's over here run an SR20 det turbo engine and are pulling really good hp figures. i take it that the gtx is a R30 skyline with the FJ20 motor in it? its a much of a muchness but the SR20 is quite good on fuel for the performance.
