I have a 2000 x-terra and the one fog light is rusted and just burned out and the other is starting to rust. I want to replace them myself. my question is all the foglights i see are 55watt. my manual states something like 35watts and to replace with the same wattage.are they talking if i were to replace the bulb only? Any help would be great, thanks.

 

I once had the same problem with my Frontier, I recomend you to use 35watts. The 55's are to hot and can further damage the enclosure. 35's are available almost in every car parts store.
