Default speaker install question

I have a 2000 Xterra XE with 6 speakers. I bought a comp. set to replace the speaker/tweeter set in the front doors. When I took off the door panels, I found no crossover. I found seperate wires going to each speaker. Do I have to start from the radio to install my new set w/ crossover? I'd appreciate any help!

Default RE: speaker install question

you can just run the tweeter off of the crossover and run the speaker in the door full range or you can run the speaker off of the crossover and run a new line through the door for the tweeter.

it would be easy to run the tweeter off of the crossover and run the speaker at full range

you do not have to run new lines from you radio for the speakers either. use the factory lines as the inputs for the crossover and then new lines have to be ran off the crossover for the new speakers and tweeters
