I have an 02 Xterra that after short trip there's a strange burning smell coming from the rear of the vertical. I check the brakes and there not hot, or even warm after a trip. It just started do it in the winter time, mostly on real wet day. so im wondering if it water an road gunk getting on the exhaust or something serious? Is this a conman Problem? Thanks.

 

have the same prob..up for this post..i bet that smell is coming from the Brake Disc in my cars condition..
