Hey guys, well the times come where Im going to buy my firt 240sx, heres what I have planned for the car:

HKS Super Mega Flow Reloaded Kits intake HKS GT II Wastegate 50mm Greddy Intake Manifold Nissan 240sx w/ S14 SR20DET HKS SSQV Blow Off Valve – Universal Fuel Injectors 740cc Plugs Switch lines to HT ECU Remapping Sway Bar Camshaft Struts polyurethane bushings limited slip differentials Brakes (300z Nissan) Turbo line kit

Dont really know where ill stand in terms of horsepower, im guessing maybe whp around 310. Anyways if anybody has any suggestions they can give me much would be appriciated. What should I look for in specific when inspecting a 240sx? Do the 89's have any particular known problems?

the s13 are known for having rust problems since there old and also the dashes crack in majority of them and they come with the slugish sohc ka24e, and if you havent purchased your sr20 yet i would recommend just getting a black top s13 sr20det cause you dont have to worry about the varriable valve timing cause thats the only difference between the s13 and s14 sr20det besides the intake manifold and age. also for your sr20det your not going to break the 300hp barrier until your upgrade your maf sensor to a 300zx tt maf or some type of map sensor conversion witha stand alone ecu. and 50mm wastegate is a bit overboard the tial 38mm or 44mm would do the job perfectly for an sr20det good luck, and if you need any parts let me know and i can get them for you.
