Fan Blower Problem

Fan Blower Problem
Hi:
I was recently using the A/C in my Nissan Xterra (2000) and the fan blower stopped working on speeds 1,2, & 3. However, it works fine on 4. Seems to be no A/C problem as it cools off just fine.
Anybody have any suggestions on what the problem might be. I'm assuming there is a short or it something electrical, but I've never had that problem before, so I need assistance. Thanks!!!

RE: Fan Blower Problem
you need what they call a blower resister the part is cheap you looking at 30 bucks for the part. You can find this part on the passanger side under the dash near the blower motor. there will be 2 scews holding it in and a plug with i think 4 to 5 wires.
