I need help ........i have a 1989 Nissan 240SX with a thrown tranny. my friend has a 1990 240SX with a blown engine .... his is a 16 valve mine is a 12 but they are both K24A's ...... can i use his tranny in my car????

 

On cars that old the biggest question is whether the bellhousing will bolt up and the shifter linkages work as well as the axles. When I'm in that spot I usually consult a junk yard for advice. Many times they have books with compatibility info.
