Hey People,
New here but an old hand elsewhere. I wonder if I can get some insight into a problem my sister-in law is having with her little NX-R, (Private Jap import-over here they were badged as 'NX' coupe). Anyway, it idles a little erratic, but is sluggish as hell till it hits about 3000rpm, then it revs up free and easy. I haven't put a vac gauge on it or anything, there are no CEL codes. Just thought that maybe the T/Chain stretched a little, (done 180,000kms), and that has possibly put the cam timing out as a result? There IS an audible rattle from the chain area, but only on engine braking between 1500-2000 rpm. Anybody heard of anything like this before??? Anything at all..... anybody??
