Default Help please on a X-tera

Thanks for taking my mail.
I am very serious about an Nissan X-tera (spelling). Want a stick. Saw one and talked to a dealer that says yes. Was at a dealer today says no stick. Sales brochure says stick available.
From the east coast and now in the desert. Do not need a four wheel drive any more. Does this car have 2 wheel drive and you shift to 4 wheel drive. My 96 Chevy Blazer had that feature.

What is the black box for on the roof. Saw the sales booklet and still confused.
I am serious and would like any comments.
You can go to my house mail, mcwald20@aol.com, or will come back here today and Oct. 10.
Do like the car, but lots of confusing talk from sales people.

Thank you

Mc.

the xterra is offered with a manual transmission. if your dealer doesnt have one, they can order one for you.
