Hey All I have a 04 Maxima and I love it!!! Except all of the sudden the cd player plays my cd's but the drivers side speakers sound muffled and low. This is just with the cd player. When the radio is played all speakers sound great! I used a cd cleaner several times and this work for awhile. Anybody have a clue??? Can the lens be still dirty? If so, suggestions on a better cleaner? Or can a speaker wire be loose???

I would go to the dealer and see if it can still be covered under the warranty..... you probably just got out of warranty unless you have an extended one. It would not be a loose speaker wire.

Hey thanks, I don't think the warrenty is valid.... I bought the car from a used car dealer.
ANd the problemjust started.... not to mention it will play real good for awhile and then just start acting funky with playing out of the passenger and back right speaker. Which makes me suspect the lens is getting real dirty or a loose wire and the only reason I think of the wire is when I hit a bumb it will knock it out. Then when I accelerate it sometime comes back. As for when I clean the lens.

 

Hay, I believe u have the Bose system right...Well all the speakers are individually amped. you might have to pull the door panel off and check the plug on the speaker housing.
it can be loose and causing a bad connection..try it
