hey guys im getting a 240sx next week and in was wondering the best motor mods and replacements for anything that is known to go out, i am on a budget so im not looking to spend a fortune and i am staying N/A, also i drive pretty hard, and what is the best tranny fluid to put in the s13 5speed to protect it? thanks alot guys.

 

well i personally would do an sr20det swap if i had enough money i would just go ***** out and do an skyline rb26dett swap, but ka24 engine that is stock in a 240 to me is just dissapointing but if you want to keep that engine I would go with hotshot performance CAI and header, and go with an cat back exhaust and a jim wolf reprogramed ecu, unorthodox crank pulley, and flywheel, with an act stage 1 clutch. and after all that you should be able to get about 170hp-185hp> when it comes to lubrication i personelly use royale purple synthentic 75w90 gear oil or manual trans oil, and i use the RP 10w30 motor oil and you will notice a difference in acceleration with this oil, well i noitced it in my car. well have fun.
