heyy. the idle on my sr20 is fuked when i slow down from 2nd to 1st gear it stalls and when its just idleing it nearly or does stall.... could someone let me know what that is and what i can do to repair it? and i got black smoke from the catback. these may be stupid questions to some but i dont know what it means im here to learn thanks

 

check your idle air control and i believe the sr20 iac valve is adjustable like my rb26also the black smoke means your running rich so check your fuel psi and check your fuel psi regulator your fuel psi should be around 40psi +/-5 also check for any vacuum leaks and intake leaks around the maf.

 

I have the same problem. Where is the IAC and how would I adjust it? I also thought it could be a vacuum leak but i have not found any.
