Default Oil leak

When I start the car (94 Altima) I have an oil leak comimg from the timing chain front cover. Has any one seen this? I have taken off the power steering pump to see better and seems to be coming from where the cover mates with the block on the left side of the cover. There is some type sealed plug on the cover, but do not know what it is for. it is not coming from the sealed plug, just in that area. Thanks Brain

Yeah, I have a 94 Altima also and I just recently had the same problem you're having. It is probably the valve cover seal that has broken. My car was leaking oil like crazy but now it doesn't at all. It happened on the left side of the valve cover and it looks like a black semi-circle that had come loose. I think I'm describing it good enough but you should check that

Actually I just re-read what you had written and I don't know what's wrong. That's just what was wrong with my car
