Default rev limiter

how can i remove the rev limiter on a 99 altima? i know i can buy a moded ecu that would cost like 1'800$ but i might not have that much money... i can send my computer to a company that would make a chip, but then i'd have to wait like 3 days w/o driving my car wich is impossible because i work 6 days/week and it's pretty far... plz help me i'm almost desperate! lol

You have to do one of the two things you listed..... because the rev limiter is programmed into the ecu .... I wouldn't recommend raising it in your altima.... what are you trying toaccomplishwith raising it?
