Default 06 Frontier low end torque weak

[size=2]To make a VERY long story short....I traded my 05 LE CC 4X4 for an 06 LE CC 4X4. When I picked the 06 up there was such a difference that I asked the saleman if it indeed has the 4.0L or if it was the 2.7L. My problem is that the 05 could have kicked the 06 off the line by a mile. I went back to the dealer and test drove another on the lot and it was the same as mine.
I had them remove the Vortex Fuel Max. thinking that that would help but it is still a dog compared to the 05. Does anyone know what the deal is....did they do something to cut the power on the low end. The salesman and the service guy don't have a clue.

I know what you mean you dont feel the torque as much as you do when your around 3000rpms you can really feel it kick in. Get an exhuast and intake and it should help some. Im hoping to get up to 300hp and 325ft lbs of torque!
