Default 95 acceleration question

For the last 7 years I have been driving an SUV. Now, I am fixing up a 95 Maxima as my primary ride. I work 35 miles away from home and need to drive the Interstate on a daily basis. One thing I noticed while tooling down the road is that when I accelerate to pass a semi, there seems to be a momentary hesitation in power instead of an immediate pick up in energy. Suggestions?

thanx, saltykayak

Ign late =Knock sensor bad, typically dies due to age. Whattodo; see ideas & follow links via http://www.cardomain.com/ride/748507/9 ...also page 14
Dead KS should be found in self diagnostics, (Autozone does for free (?), just dont buy or believe what they say except the KS tst result.)

Whatelse? Coilpacks, plugs semi dead.
