Codes 325 (Knock Sensor) and 400 (EGR Flow)

Codes 325 (Knock Sensor) and 400 (EGR Flow)
I have a '97 Maxima GLE with a little over 170k miles on it. Just last week the engine light came on. I took it to Advance Auto today and they pulled the codes. They were:
1. P0400 - "EGR Flow Malfunction"
2. P0325 - "Knock Sensor 1 Circuit Malfunction"
Is anyone out there familiar with these codes and how to address them? I am in pretty tight financial straits right now, so I am willing to do the work myself - but I could use some help.
