Default I feel like I am driving a bus...

Hi all-
This is my second post inquiring about my '99 Maxima 5-speed. My question is that the shifter is sooooo long that I feel like I am driving a bus (My '99 Corolla and '96 Camry had shorter shifters than this!). What do you think is the cheapest method, without sacrificing quality, to cut it down/rethread it? I have to work within a budget so if anyone has a guess as to how much that would cost would be much appreciated. Thanks guys and gals!

Kyle

P.S. Someone needs to post something that I can answer so I can help others! : )

You can buy an aftermarket shifter, or try to customize your current shifter.
