I've been looking at buying an 06 Pathfinder. I have a set of wheels and tires (<4K miles) from on 02 4Runner. So I'm trying to figure out if they wheel/tire size combo will fit without problems (minor trimming is acceptable to me).

I have 16x8 -6mm (4.25") wheels. I've read the stock Pathfinder is 30mm - accurate? Just found bolt pattern is indeed slightly different (6x139.7 vs 6x114.3), so new wheels would be in order on the Pathfinder.

I have 275/70r16 (31.16") BFG ATKO tires. I've read the stock Pathfinder comes with 3 different sizes, being 265/65r17 (30.56"), 265/75r16 (31.65") and 265/70r16 (30.61").
I think the tire height is OK, I'm wondering about the wheel offset? Anyone know what offsets are acceptable for an 8" rim?

Also, are the Pathfinders that come with the 265/75r16 geared differently than the others?
