Hey guys. I'm new here and I have a question about doing front brakes on a Pathfinder. Could someone tell me what is involved in removing the one of the front rotors? I am no beginner at doing brakes on anything, but I have never done brakes on a one of these before and I was a little concerned with the autolocking hub thing. Do I have do touch that at all or does the rotor come off over that?

Any help would be great!! Also if anyone knows where I can get an exploded view of this online somewhere, that would be awesome.

MCas7, welcome. I am new also. I have done the brake pad replacement on my 93 4wd but take it to the shop for pulling the rotors. I bought the Haynse manual from Autozone which has been very helpful and has the exploded view you are looking for plus the removal directions. I just don't want to deal with the hub myself so let the shop do it, for me well worth the money. Good luck.
