I need to replace my thermostat in my 1999 Pathfinder. Where do I find it?

 

Since my wife's '99 had a overheating problem I had to locate it also. If you follow the lower radiator hose up into the engine you will see a triangular thermostat housing that bolts on with 3 bolts. You have to remove a few things to get to it and it doesn't look like the piece of cake it was on older cars. My wife's PF actually had low fluid due to a leaking upper hose and once I replaced it and filled the fluid up there doesn't seem to be a problem anymore so I didn't actually have to replace it. Get a Chiltons manual and it shows some good pictures on how to do this though. Can't believe no one else bothered to answer this.
