Default tires
I was told that only the dealer can rotate the tires on my 05 quest because of the computer is this true?

No.

most tire places should be able to do it for you if they need to be checked for balance also.

Everything I know about tires and tire rotation tells me this is not true. Does your Quest have a tire pressure monitoring system?
