i bought a 96 sentra and the boot lock is damaged. i took it to an auto locksmith and he said its not worth repairing the lock. i want to know where i can get a boot lock at a cheap price even if its a generic lock, as long as it serves the same purpose. i have checked with the agents and their prices are ridiculous. please help.

 

what boot lock are you talking about. cause i never had to replace one of those before.

 

the lock on the boot/trunk lid that uses the key, such that i don't have to use the boot release lever but rather the key to open the boot/trunk.

 

i think you have to buy it from the nissan dealer but then your going to need a 2nd key for your trunk
