Default 2002 Manual Trans RS5F70A Striker leak/torn boot

This is a 2002 GXE with manual transmission RS5F70A. I am replacing the clutch presently but noted a leak where the shifter shaft enters the back of the transmission. There is a boot here also that is torn. When I first noticed this leak, I read a bunch about this issue and found/bookmarked parts but now I can no longer find any of this information. I understand though that the shifter shaft that moves back and forth in the back of the transmission, connected by rigid rod linkage to the shifter in the cabin is called the STRIKER. There is a seal in the transmission case this striker passes thru, and a rubber boot that goes around the striker.
When I search now for Striker, all I can find is the door striker, and any combination of search terms I employ either shows me the DOOR close striker, or the shifter inside the cabin and the leather boot. Could anyone please help me with the proper nomenclature for this/these parts and perhaps even a source for buying, or part numbers.
I feel while the transmission is out while I replace the clutch is a good time to address the leak, and repair. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Well okay then. Here is what a couple more internet digging hours has accomplished. The shift rod poking out the side of the gearbox is called a Striking Rod by Nissan 32892-6J000 Rod-Striking. The rubber boot is Boot-Rod, Striking 32859-6J000 and the seal is Seal-Oil, striking Rod 30401G-6J000

Now, with that information, has anyone ever changed that seal? I'm going to guess that it can be removed and replaced without pulling the striking rod, but I see there are some bushings in the case and I am curious if that must be pulled and replaced as well. This may become obvious when it is on the bench, but I like to have parts on hand to reduce down-time on the vehicle.

Someone on this forum must have some experience here.

Even though this thread appears to have garnered scant interest, I personally feel compelled to update, incase some troubled soul in the future stumbles across it trying desperately to find some information regarding the oil seal and boot on their JATCO manual transmission. The boot is available via Nissan, but is $46, the oil seal is NLA and the only place I could find it was ebay. The current part number for the oil seal is now 328586J000 I found it on ebay, in Dubai, for like $5 plus $17 shipping. I suppose if you gotta have it, you gotta have it or throw away your car. Maxima forums had some input on this part, but the threads were a number of years old. It is an easy part to knock out and replace, you just need to drive it out once you've knocked out the roll-pin from the linkage, and simply tap the seal in, maybe with a rime of RTV around the rim as a lube/sealer.
The seal itself is an NOK brand seal, it has a part number etched into the rubber but is very tiny. It looks like the manufacturer's part number for this is BR3069F, is 32mm diameter outside, and the ID measures at 17.84mm which makes sense as the striking rod shaft itself is 18mm on the mic. One would think with that NOK number you could easily find the seal itself, but I found that just not to be the case. In the meantime, I'm awaiting delivery of my part from Dubai.......

Parts acquired, installed, transmission back in the car w new clutch system. Not sure why these parts were so difficult to obtain, especially with having the NOK brand seal part number. Could not find/source/cross reference.

Anyway, make of it what you will. Maybe someone will come across this post and find part numbers useful to them.
