Unless you use alot of spray, youll never see 200hp in a GA16DE.

They make around 130whp with alot of mods.

Hot Shot makes a turbo kit for the GA16 motor it says it will add 80 HPs which will get almost there and thats with a stock motor. upgade the injectors and add turbo pistons and a good set of cams you should be able to up the boost and get any where from 200HP to 300HP

He said he wants to make a N/A GA16DE make 200hp. It will never happen.

It's possible ... but not worth it .... I would reccomend investing in a SR20 motor... much better platform to build on.

Yeah it is a much better platform but even with a N/A SR20 motor is still hard to make 200whp...

If he wants a good N/A street set up, get a JDM 10:1 motor with C series cams form JWT, Gen6 header, 3 inch exhaust, UR pulleys, 19* timing, CAI and he'll run low 14's all day.

And, for higher compression get SR16VE pistons which i think make 12.5:1 C/R

Well going N/A on a nissan motor in general isn't the way to go .... for big power out of a 4 banger get a turbo.

well, i wouldnt say its not the way to go, cause the VVL motors are great for N/A setups, but most people like to boost there Nissans.

VVL motors are decent.... but on the average a turbo will deliver more power, faster.

VVL motors are more reliable than turbo motors, Some VVL's are running just as fast as DE-Ts

I forgot who is was but i seen on another forum VVL motors running high 12's, either way you cant loose.
