Default No start 2008 Sentra

We just got a 2008 sentra and bought it believing it had sensor problems. The scan showed two codes: P0011 and P2A00. Before the crankshaft sensor was taken out the starter would wind but it wouldn't crank. Now it won't do anything no click, no wind, - nothing but a thump when the key is turned on but not all the way to start..You can run a wire directly from the battery to the starter and it will wind until the battery dies if you let it.Please someone know something that will help. Thanks in advance.BTW I ordered a sensor and when it came it, it did not fit, it would not bolt up and it was a guaranteed fit.

Well, no one had any answers but we now know exactly what the problem is. It needs a timing chain or belt whichever it takes. We just are not sure how involved the task is.

there are two crank sensors once 90 degree to the plug and ones straight up and down. They are not interchangeable.
