I have a piece of **** car at the moment and i am thinking of buy a brand new 2006 Nissan Sentra SPEC-V. I have been to the dealership and listen to what bull**** they have to say to me. You know all the good things. I would like some opinion of that please.

 

If you are looking for a reliable sporty car, then I would definitely go with the 06 Sentra Spec V. For the money, it is probably the finest and fastest inline 4 on the market today, boasting 175HP.
I am seriously looking at purchasing one in the next few months myself!

 

I would have to agree cause at the street races this guy has a 02 spec v and he was smoking mitisubishi eclipse gst wich is a front wheel drive turbo. trust me the spec v is a quick car and reliable. well good luck with your decision.

 

Was this a 1st gen GS-T(189 hp approx)? The Spec-v would lose with equal drivers to a 2nd gen GS-T(229 hp approx).

The Spec-v's are great. I've got an 05. the Pre-cat issue has been pretty much fixed. The Throttle plate screws aren't really an issue anymore and the transmission problems have for the most part been completely taken care of. Just make sure that when you get it, everything checks out, just like any new car purchase. DON'T test it's performance level out by threashing it right off the bat.

I've got about 18k on mine right now and so far I've had a few small issues but nothing that was disheartening.
