Getting started

RE: Getting started
i read an article a while back..to buy a GTR34, the skyline in my AV, on ebay, it would run you roughly 80,000+, fully tuned, so on...and to make the car 50 state legal, there is a company that i believe it in new jersey that specializes in making them legal, will cost about an extra 15 thousand...and from what i understand that includes making the car emission legal, registering it, and the like, all without lowering the power output...but like i said, that was something i read online...i believe the legalization process includes emissions and safety measures...if you notice, sometimes skylines on ebay willm specifically say "50 state legal", or "JDM car, not Us legal" so to have a Real, 50 state legal high end tuned skyline, youd pay upwards of 90 grand...ive seen R33s on ebay, 50 state legal for as low as 45g...it was in virginia, and was registered..so on...and had something like 505 dyno'd hp....it was very nice

but the cobra is only rwd...i would have to think that in certain performance applications, and in economy, the skyline would have an advantage...the way i look at it, they are liek cuban cigars...once castro dies, and the embargo is lifted, cuban cigars wont carry the outrageous prices...the same goes for the skyline once nissan introducs it full scale to the us, prices will be greatly reduced...
however, i have seen ALOT of fake skylines..i have seen a 2 door acura legend, a mazda 626, and a 2 door prelude turned into a skyline..they were very realistic looking, but in 2wd, and transverse engines...
