Hi guys. I was hoping somebody might be able to help me with a question I had about my fuel vent valve. The valve is malfunctioning, which made the "check engine light" come on. I got that light turned off, but elected to not replace the part. To the best of my knowledge, all it does that matters, is control emissions, and in Kentucky, we currently have no emissions testing, so no worries. I just wanted to make sure that there was no other problem that might arise from not replacing the part, aside from having trouble selling the car out-of-state :)

i would just pay attention to how the car is running. I am fairly certain that your problem is strictly an emissions controls item, and if you ask me, its all a load of crap to suck money out of people by the automotive industry and the gov't...[sm=rant.gif]
